Nantong Baopeng CPU Weight plate recently completed comprehensive screening for Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC) under the SGS REACH regulation. Testing was conducted against the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) Candidate List current as of February 4, 2026, covering a total of 253 substances; the content of all tested substances was ≤0.1% (w/w), resulting in a “PASS” determination and confirming full compliance with EU REACH chemical control requirements.

The sample tested was a Baopeng Fitness CPU weight plate; a rigorous screening for all 253 Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC) was conducted using a combination of analytical techniques, including ICP-OES, UV-VIS, GC-MS, HPLC-DAD/MS, and colorimetry. The results showed that only Medium-Chain Chlorinated Paraffins (MCCP) were detected, at a level of 0.095%, while the remaining 252 substances were not detected (ND). The detected level remains below the EU’s regulatory threshold of 0.1%, confirming full compliance.
In accordance with the EU REACH Regulation (EC), if the mass concentration of a Substance of Very High Concern (SVHC) in an article exceeds 0.1%, companies are required to fulfill statutory obligations such as supply chain information transmission and SCIP database notification. The substance content in Baopeng CPU laminations is strictly controlled within the prescribed limits; therefore, there is no need to fulfill the aforementioned notification obligations, enabling European customers and cross-border trade partners to avoid chemical compliance risks.
