VANBO Ark Kettlebell Material Upgrade: Reshaping the Durability Standard for Commercial Kettlebells

In the past two months, the VANBO Ark series kettlebells have completed the iteration of their core materials, officially bidding farewell to the traditional hollow cast iron structure and comprehensively upgrading to a solid wrought iron design. By optimizing the material properties, the durability and user experience in commercial scenarios are further enhanced.

The core of this upgrade lies in the renewal of the base material. The newly adopted wrought iron material has a lower carbon content. Compared with the hard and brittle characteristics of cast iron, wrought iron is softer and more resilient, and has excellent forgeability. This feature not only allows the kettlebell to effectively disperse stress when subjected to high-intensity impact and collision, reducing the risk of cracking and deformation, and extending its service life in commercial scenarios; it also allows the kettlebell to have a more regular shape and more even weight distribution through the precise forging process, avoiding the center of gravity shift problem that may occur in hollow cast iron kettlebells and improving stability during training.

The upgraded Ark kettlebell utilizes iron sand-filled counterweights, combined with a solid wrought iron base, to achieve both precise weight control and safety. The fluidity of the sand further optimizes the kettlebell’s center of gravity, ensuring a stable feel across all weight specifications while also ensuring proper floor protection.

In the fitness equipment industry, detailed craftsmanship directly determines product durability and user experience. VANBO, a professional brand deeply engaged in the fitness equipment sector, has launched its newly launched CPU commercial Ark series kettlebells, featuring technological upgrades in three core areas: welding, adhesive treatment, and handle surface finish. This provides reliable equipment solutions for professional settings such as gyms and studios.

Laser Welding: The Cornerstone of Seamless Structural Safety

The VANBO Ark kettlebell utilizes an integrated laser welding process to connect the bell head and handle, overcoming the pain points of traditional welding, which can lead to loosening. The weld tolerance is ≤ 0.1mm, and the coating remains intact after a third-party drop test of 100,000 cycles. Precision polishing ensures a smooth, seamless surface, ensuring both structural safety and user comfort.

8mm CPU Thickened Adhesive Layer: A Double Upgrade in Protection and Quality

Commercial kettlebells must withstand the rigors of impact, sweat, and frequent use. The adhesive layer, as a core protective barrier, has a direct impact on product lifespan due to its thickness and craftsmanship. The CPU Ark Kettlebell utilizes an 8mm thickened (cast polyurethane) adhesive layer, achieving a significant improvement in overall performance compared to the industry’s standard 3-5mm adhesive layer.

The material used is a highly elastic CPU composite material, which offers advantages such as aging resistance, oil resistance, and high and low temperature resistance, maintaining stable performance in temperatures ranging from -20°C to 60°C. The adhesive layer is cast in a one-piece molding process using a dedicated mold to achieve seamless wrapping, achieving 100% adhesion between the adhesive layer and the cast iron substrate.

The VANBO Ark kettlebell handle is constructed from high-quality steel with a hard chrome finish. Even after a rigorous 48-hour salt spray test, the surface remained intact with no signs of corrosion, making it resistant to daily wear and rust. Furthermore, the handle’s diameter is precisely controlled at 33mm, perfectly ergonomically designed to fit the curve of your hand for enhanced training comfort.
